How can My counselling Style support you?

Who I Support

I support humans who are in feeling lost or disconnected in life due to life transitions, change, feeling stuck, or suffering from burnout. 


Some examples are but are not limited to:

  • Relocation/moving
  • Family roles have shifted (eg. becoming a parent, caring for a parent)
  • Change of relationship (eg. marriage, divorce, disconnection)
  • Changes to role you've been in for a long time (eg. career/job, caring for others)
  • Feeling unsettled in life
  • Perimenopause/menopause

What I Help With

I support other humans like you by allowing space to share your life experience, and what is happening for you, releasing built-up emotions, and allowing you the space to set down the burdens you've been carrying and reassess them. 


My clients are constantly telling me how much lighter they feel simply by having a safe space to open up about what they have been carrying around on their shoulders.


There is no need to walk this part of your journey alone, therefore, as you journey forward, I walk alongside you not leading or following but by simply being with you each step.

How I Support You

As humans we aren't always aware of why we feel the way we feel so I support you by asking helpful questions to help you unearth where you may be feeling stuck or unsettled. 


I listen intently to your stories and experiences and I will then reflect back things I am noticing to help you build awareness. 


I help to shine light on parts of your story you may have missed as well as helping to reframe, opening up alternative ways of seeing things.


Overall, I do this with a deep empathy, unconditional positive regard, and always holding you as whole and well. 

Approaches I Use

Our therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the therapy itself. Feeling comfortable with me (or any therapist you have) is the base for successful therapy.


I then use an integrative approach of Person-Centred with Solution-Focused, Psychodynamic, and different tools and techniques from other approaches to tailor the therapy specifically to your needs.


I listen and that is where the healing happens.
